Amala's Community Outreach Scholarship

If you are still hoping to attend and have financial limitations please see our payment plan or pay our Community Rate for the full training at checkout.

Amala is dedicated to building community and increasing access to yoga. This is the motivation behind our Community Outreach Scholarship Program.  It is available to candidates who are already 200hr certified teachers and who have financial hardships. We are looking for a active community leader who is passionate about bringing yoga to the underserved communities where they live and who is motivated to build accessible programming to service low-income mothers and families.

We are now offering several partial scholarships (half off tuition) which allow us to welcome more people in need into the program. These scholarships include partial tuition (excluding required reading materials) and mentorship. Payment plans are available for the remaining tuition due.

Please review the Commitment Contract below to see if you are eligible for this opportunity.  In addition to completing the scholarship survey below, you will also need to fill out our general application. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you to provide a valuable service to those in need.

  • Maintain partnerships with local birth support professionals who will help you succeed.

  • Commit to serve in a low-income community setting that is not cost prohibitive to expecting families.

  • Secure your own funding source and create a sustainable way to maintain your programs 1-2x week for a minimum of one year.

  • To become a leader in your community offering support for new and expecting parents. We really want you to take this on! Become a leader so you can mentor more of our trainees! Help us improve our training and continuing education one day!
