All participants for this training must have completed "Yoga for Fertility and Pregnancy". This four-day training will primarily focus on how yoga can help women and couples prepare for the childbirth process.

Course Highlights:

  • Prenatal yoga practicum clinic

Guest Faculty Presenters: Certified Nurse Midwives from North Shore Associates in OB/GYN at Evanston Hospital leads an interactive discussion on the midwifery model of prenatal care. Shawna Mertens, co-founder and Doula from Third Coast Birth provides information on the role of a doula in pregnancy, labor and postpartum and hands-on partner coping tools.
